The Snowdonia National Park is a haven for those who seek fresh air and adventure with a host of independently organised activities available within the area to include clay pigeon shooting, fishing, horse riding, white water rafting, sailing, mountain biking and, of course, walking and climbing in our glorious mountain countryside. At Plasau Barn there is a myriad of things to do, whatever the weather. From sitting on the sun deck with a glass of something or curled up with a book in the conservatory to taking a walk along one of our many local footpaths, you will always be surrounded by the breathtaking scenery and an abundance of wildlife. There are four hostelries within a short drive, from a traditional cosy pub serving bar food, to hotels including the AA Welsh Pub of the Year Brigands Inn, all offering bar and full a la carte menus and catering for most tastes including vegetarian. Plasau Barn Cottage clings to the peaceful hillside between the tranquil and ancient villages of Dinas Mawddwy and Llanymawddwy in the restful Dyfi Valley.
